Saturday Night, NoHo Style Frank Sheftel, Marielou Mandl, Dez Mandl, David Hernandez |
Last Saturday, November 12th, our guest in studio for was Marielou Mandl, producer and reporter of the Sassy Survival Guide, a series of reports that air on NoHoArtsDistrict.comand on the web. Marielou, along with her sister, Dez, spoke about the first annual "Experience NoHo" theatre and arts festival showcasing the creative spirit that is the NoHo Arts District. Marielou recapped the event whose intent was to "open our doors so L.A. can experience the talent, art, uniqueness, kookiness and just plain FUN of the NoHo Arts District...our booming one-mile neighborhood in North Hollywood."
Marielou got to sample all of the sights and sounds of NoHo from fashion to theatre to music to food and even a flash mob led by a Michael Jackson look-alike.
In the meantime, the boys also took calls from co-host Michael Higby, who was enjoying margaritas from friends at Joselito's Mexican Food in Tujunga, regular caller and Deputy District Attorney David Berger, and our regular contributor, funnyman Rip Taylor.
